Next to the very few factory team cars this very Lancia Stratos is the most successful Stratos Rally car. It was campaigned by Lancia Concessionari and had a successful Rally racing career from 1979 to 1981. Most significant was the over all victory of the famous San Remo Rally in 1979 which was part of the Worldchampionship calendar in that year. Our Lancia Stratos also won the Italian 1979 Rally Championship.
It continued to race with different pilots in 1980 and 1981. It is now in well preserved condition as raced last in 1981 and is therefore most likely one of the most original Lancia Stratos Group 4 Rally cars. Our Stratos is extremely well documented with continuous ownership until today. It is in excellent mechanical condition and has participated at various important historic Rally and hillclimb events recently.
