We often start our texts with a piece of model history. A little bit of enthusiasm for the model. But to be honest: the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider doesn't need that. The model, introduced in 1954, was presented at the Turin Motor Show and the model drawn by Pinifarina was immediately praised for its shapes. A beloved classic that is not only timelessly beautiful, but also great to drive.

We are dealing with a Giulietta 1300 Spider that the most recent Dutch (originally Italian) owner has enjoyed for many years. The Italian, with a barbershop in Amsterdam, drove the car for decades and had the car very well maintained. Stacks of invoices from various well-known specialists from the Alfa Romeo world are present with the car. The owner only did business with Alfa specialists who have been well known within Alfa circles for decades.

The Spider drives great. The 1300 has been completely overhauled and (partly for that reason) hangs nicely on the gas and performs exceptionally well. The original 80 horsepower seems to be more and the fun is further enhanced by the wonderful, light-footed driving characteristics. In short: if you are looking for an incredibly temperamental and charming two-seater sports car, then you are in the right place with this Giulietta. And the external condition? It doesn't disappoint either!

The Spider, which was delivered in 1960, came to the Netherlands in 2000. The body is painted in brilliant red, which perfectly shows off the Pininfarina lines. A Giulietta Spider can be considered one of the most beautiful bodies of all time. This Spider is no exception. The paint has a deep shine and full color, an imperfection in the paint can be observed in a few places. No, rest assured, no corrosion or other misery, just a few minimal spots where the paint has been applied somewhat unevenly. The body itself is very sleek and the fits are very neat, the doors close easily and the same applies to the hood and trunk lid.
The chrome work has all been addressed before, making the Spider look great.

The interior is also of unprecedented beauty. The beautiful dashboard with three large meters that are divided into various information and are housed in a dashboard largely painted in paint color. The upholstery has been renewed, and the black parts have been trimmed with red accents. It creates a very attractive cabin. The entire interior can be described as 'very neat', the carpeting and seat upholstery even 'very nice'.

As mentioned, the car comes with many invoices, which go back to very recent dates. This also includes an invoice showing that the convertible top has recently been replaced, no wonder it is still in such 'as new condition'. The Spider also comes with the necessary books and documentation.
