1987 Mercedes - Benz 500 SL
£15,000.00 | €17,548.38 | $18,808.35

Mercedes-Benz first introduced an SL model in 1954 following an original idea by American importer, Max Hoffman who foresaw a market for a car tailored to affluent Americans in the booming post-war United States. It has remained in production, in various guises and model years in the seven decades since then, making the SL the second longest single series ever produced by the German manufacturer.

Registered new on 16th April 1987 this well-presented example is offered in Paget Red over a cream interior and looks very well indeed. Purchased by the current vendor in 2012 the Mercedes has always been dry stored in his tenure and used occasionally on weekends and throughout the summer months. Fitted with a replacement V8 motor the Mercedes is offered with a sizeable history file containing various invoices, maintenance bills, old MoT records, the current UK registration document, and a new MoT valid until March 2025. This is a superb opportunity to acquire such a car and is offered with a very sensible estimate. Consigned by Daniel Godin.
