The example we offer is an early and originally Dutch delivered 996TT with manual gearbox, which has been perfectly maintained by the dealer and Porsche Specialist Waalgarage. Due to unknown cause, a replacement engine was fitted at 127,100km and the car was fitted with a Manthey K520 package. This includes: Larger Turbochargers from the Porsche GT2, larger intercoolers, custom exhaust and intake, custom cooling, custom software, a reinforced clutch and a brake system from the Porsche GT3 Cup with 6 pistons and 350mm brake discs. For those who don't know, Manthey is such a serious Porsche improver that they were taken over by Porsche a few years ago and all Manthey parts can simply be ordered through the Porsche dealer. Thanks to the K520 package, the 996TT delivers a healthy 520hp and some 700NM of torque. This makes it a seriously fast car that can also be driven without being a hooligan every time. That the technology can easily handle it is shown by the fact that 90,000 km after the conversion, the car still drives great, without high oil consumption or leaks. The previous owner found the Sealgrau colour a bit dull and had the car wrapped in Speedyellow. The door sills, the inside of the mirror caps and the rear hardback seats were also neatly included. The paint under the wrap is still in very good condition, so the choice is up to the buyer which colour combination he chooses. The current owner bought the car with a side noise in the gearbox. Thanks to the replacement of the prise shaft bearings (a known 996TT problem), the gearbox is back as it should be. At the same time, the starter motor was preventively replaced. In April this year, the hydraulic system of the rear spoiler was overhauled.
