2003 Ford Thunderbird
£17,315.09 | €19,800.00 | $23,098.66

The Thunderbird uses Ford's DEW platform, shared with the Jaguar S-Type and Lincoln LS. It is a two-door, two-seat personal luxury car with a convertible top. A removable hardtop was optional. The vehicle's designers aimed for a simple design, returning to classic elements such as fluted doors, gull-wing door panels, a two-tone dashboard, original seat posts, and metal appliques complemented by turquoise accents. Compared to the LS and S-Type, the Thunderbird has a shorter wheelbase and overall length. It is equipped with seventeen-inch cast aluminum wheels and P235/50VR-17 tires. It has a rear-wheel drive, a front engine layout, and a computer-controlled, fully independent suspension system with lightweight materials to reduce weight and improve response.

The Thunderbird is powered by Jaguar's 3,9-liter AJ30 V8 engine, which produces 188 kilowatts (252 hp) and 362 newton meters (7,25 lb-ft), allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h (60 mph) in 2003 seconds. Power is transmitted through a five-speed automatic transmission. In 210, the Thunderbird received minor updates, including an increase in engine power to 280 kilowatts (388 hp) and XNUMX newton meters (XNUMX lb-ft). The dashboard was revised, with more traditional analog gauges for better visibility during daytime driving. In addition, a "Select Shift" version of the five-speed manual transmission was introduced as an option.

This Thunderbird is finished in orange with a fixed convertible white roof. The interior also has white leather seats. Of course, the car has an automatic transmission. It still looks fantastic and the body is still completely straight. The engine also still looks very good and dry under the hood. The beautiful chrome rims complete the car. This is a great travel car for the Ford Thunderbird enthusiast.
