Original Dutch heinkel Tourist scooter from 1960 with old matching NL registration. Good running and riding. The Heinkel Tourist 103 A-0 (1955-1957) came with a with a four-speed gearbox, a standardisation needed to allow the engine block to also be used in the "Heinkel Kabine". This was a midget car, basically a "clone" of the ISO Isetta, which was also made by BMW. The 103 A-0 also got larger wheels (from 8" to 10") and hence a larger front mudguard. It also got a telescopic fork. Heinkel Tourist 103 A-1 (1957-1960) the tubular handlebars were replaced by profiled handlebars with an integrated speedometer, and the engine block was suspended in silent blocks. The split rims had been replaced and the Siba alternator had been replaced with one from Bosch. Heinkel Tourist 103 A-2 (1960-1965) This was to be the last "Heinkel Tourist" model. The scooter had a slightly modified model and was also 4 cm shorter than its predecessor(s). The scooter was more angular and, especially at the rear, had more of the "wing" idea popular with American cars at the time. There were also indicators on board and an updated buddyseat. The telescopic fork was replaced again in 1963: a trailed swing fork replaced it. In 1965, Heinkel stopped producing scooters.
