The pictured hardtop is available for an additional €1,500. Sourced from the 1st owner who described the car as follows: The Alfa Spider was bought by me as a holiday car on16 April 1991, so it is now over 32 ½ years old. At the time on the recommendation of a client (I am RA) of mine, expert on oldtimers because the Spider model had just come out (I had to wait exactly 9 months for it) and he told me to buy it new because it has a lot of luggage space. The counter stood at 169. 688 on 1 December 2023. No one else has driven it but my wife and me. It also became entirely my holiday car, bought to use for trips around Europe and so we did a lot of that together. Usage. Almost across Europe, my wife and I have travelled from Sagres In Portugal, the Arctic Circle in Finland, Krakow in Poland, Athens in Greece to Gibraltar in Spain, but most often by car train (when it was still running) to Spain on family visits, as well as in Italy! September 2022 still to Sicily via Ferry from Genoa! Preferably never on the motorway, sometimes not on the return trip home! Always long trips, no short rides, except what was necessary to keep the Alfa moving during the downtime period! I made reports of all our trips (available for inspection!). Equipment and maintenance. With the Alfa with red fixed hood, garage cover and luggage carrier. Never had a breakdown on the road except once in France (2021 Bourges), the fuse of the radiator cooling was loose and the Alfa garage there sent me away, I just had to go home without stopping. For the last 15 years, the owner of my garage (Ruton in Reeuwijk) has been keeping a close eye on the car and doing maintenance at my request. Actually only that at Apk inspection; because my odometer had broken down it resulted in a comment from the RDW. Last year, he did replace the cardan axle, as the only major "repair". He and his people are available as sources for verification. Maintenance invoices for the last 10 years, along with some photos of the Alfa and also of its place in our home garage, where it has always stood! Reason. The reason for selling (besides my age of 78 now) is, that my wife (now almost 80 years old) no longer wants/can't handle this way of holiday travel. Also for me the Alfa has now become a lot too, not the driving itself, but we have three cars to store in my garage. (See also the photos). We have lived in our house with garage in Reeuwijk for more than 50 years, where the Alfa has also always been from the time of purchase.
