The Simca Aronde was a car model produced by French car manufacturer Simca between 1951 and 1964. The name Aronde comes from the Old French word for swallow, the symbol of Simca.Unlike earlier Simca models, the Aronde was not a copy of a Fiat model, but an original design, although the technical basis was still derived from the Fiat 1200. The Aronde was the first Simca with a self-supporting body.Three generations of the Aronde were produced; the 9, the 90A, and the P60.In the Netherlands, the Aronde was assembled by Nekaf.
