Fiat 124 Spider with spirited engineering. The example offered here was delivered new in the US state of California and came to the Netherlands in 1989. The bodywork is flawless and well preserved! Engine runs nicely and the 5-speed gearbox shifts well and the car drives well. According to the licence plate issued by the RDW, the it is a sport spider 1800 US. The Fiat 124 Sport Spider was introduced in 1966 with a 1.4-litre engine that produced 90 hp (66 kW). By 1979, the engine power had increased to 110 hp (81 kW) with the introduction of new 1.6-litre engines. From 1972, the Sport Spider was also offered with a 1.8-litre engine that produced 114 hp (84 kW) with a four-speed gearbox and 118 hp (87 kW) with a five-speed gearbox.
