Thanks to its sturdy and solid body with a long bonnet and a powerful 6-cylinder engine, the Triumph TR6 has been a favourite of many a car enthusiast since its introduction in 1968! Almost 92000 examples were built up to 1976, most of which were shipped to the northern states of America. For Europe, the car was delivered with fuel injection. For the USA market, the car was fitted with carburettors. The body is finished in white paint which, together with the wide wheels and factory hardtop, gives it a tough look. In the interior, the seats and doors are upholstered in chic black with black floor covering. The wooden dashboard features the original instruments, certainly an extensive array of gauges for its age. As a much appreciated option, this TR6 is fitted with an overdrive which provides more comfort and quietness while driving at higher speeds. The tough bodywork has a tight fit. On the original steel wheels, the high 80 series tyres are fitted, as they should be. Under the long bonnet is the powerful 6-cylinder engine that runs beautifully and produces a beautiful sound , In the past, a stainless steel exhaust was fitted .
