A Dutch-supplied Corvette C5 Targa LS1 automatic (equipped with a Dutch taillight set instead of a US one) in completely original condition is rare. This Corvette has been exceptionally well cared for; the original booklets and keys are included, and both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition. The Corvette has good tires, and its last service was performed in April 2025. The seller was the second owner and owned this Corvette for 18 years. During this time, the car was always garaged and serviced by a reputable Corvette garage. A service log, extensive invoice documentation, and other related documents are included.
The seller has been a Corvette enthusiast since childhood. In 1996, he bought his first 1972 Corvette C3 LT-1. He owned this car for 10 years and it was imported from the USA. After selling it, he began searching for a Corvette that would offer more comfort on European road trips and one that was also easier for his wife to drive. This resulted in a search for a car with these driving characteristics, ultimately leading to this 2001 Corvette C5. The car was imported in 2001 by an authorized dealer and sat in the showroom for two years. In 2003, the car was registered and sold to its first owner. In March 2007, the car was purchased by the current owner. The seller and his wife have been active board members of the Heartbeat Corvette Club for 12 years and have taken many international trips with this C5 as part of the club. The trunk easily accommodates two large suitcases, seats, etc. It's a very comfortable car that the seller and his wife have thoroughly enjoyed. They've taken several trips to European countries as a group and participated in international meetings.
