Estimated Price: £0 - £0

  • Designed by Val Page and introduced under Edward Turner, the Tiger 70 was an overhead-valve 250cc, in an off-road style, complete with high-level exhaust and with an estimated top speed of 70 mph.
  • Costing around £59 to buy, they proved popular machines in the Triumph line-up, and included competition-spec machines
  • This example was purchased by our vendor's Grandfather, an ex-jaguar Engineer, who in 1986 restored the bike and used it up until 2003 when it was put away and stored, where it remained until recently
  • The bike still sports its original Coventry registration and is supplied with some old MOTs, the original 'Buff' logbook and its current V5C
  • We understand the bike was running well when stored, however, it has not been run in over 20 years. The engine turns over freely with good compression but will obviously require recommissioning prior to use again.
  • All proceeds from this sale, are being generously donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, from which our vendors nephew has recently benefited whilst their young child was undergoing treatment in Great Ormond Street Hospital.
