- Unveiled in 1946, the HRD Vincent Rapide redefined motorcycle engineering in the post-war era
- Powered by a 998cc, 50° air-cooled V-twin offering c.45bhp at 5,500rpm, it was one of the fastest and most advanced motorcycles of the late 1940s
- Fitted with a revolutionary 'frameless' design with the engine as a stressed member
- Vincent 'Girdraulic' forks with hydraulic damping; cantilever rear with twin spring/damper units and fitted with twin drum brakes front and rear
- Produced until 1949, when the HRD name was dropped in favour of simply Vincent
- This late 'touring' spec machine is presented in very original and mostly unrestored condition
- Running recently and stored in a heated hangar as part of a private collection
