In March 1959, Austin-Healey launched the Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I. The 3000 was the successor to the 100-6 BN-2 and had a 2912 cc (2,9-liter) six-cylinder engine.
The 3000 Mk II was also launched in 1961. The biggest change to the MK II was the increased power, thanks to a carburetor. In January 1962, a special version of the MK II, the Mk IIa, was introduced. This car had two carburetors, four seats, and new windows. The Mk II went out of production in 1962, and was replaced by the Mk III. The Mk III had a new dashboard, a new center console, and a new carburetor. The car also had four seats again, the rear of which could be folded down to create a cargo floor. In 1964, the car received a minor facelift, which included a lengthened chassis. The Mk III featured, among other things, a better engine block and a different windshield.

This Austin Healey has been completely restored and was originally delivered in New York, USA.

A British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate showing how this car was delivered is included. A valuation report is also included, giving it a value of €65.000 and a valuation code of 2.
The engine, gearbox, and steering have also been overhauled, and the Healey runs smoothly and has plenty of pulling power. It's a 2A model, meaning the dashboard is an older version and therefore nicer than the MKIII's. The seams fit perfectly. The car already has crank windows, which makes it much easier to put the roof on. It has a vinyl roof that's still in good condition. The Healey runs on chrome wire wheels, which gives it a touch of class. Furthermore, the price is exceptionally competitive for anyone looking for the perfect MK2A Healey!
