Chassis No. 818740003047 The Lancia Fulvia was a pivotal model for the marque as both its entry into rally racing and re-entry into motorsport as a whole after a decade away from racing. Though the front-wheel drive Fulvia came in several road-legal variants, none were as recognizable or as close to the car that began Squadra Corse HF Lancia’s rally dominance as the Fulvia Coupé and its line of derivatives that spanned from 1965 to 1976. This 1971 Lancia Fulvia Coupé 1600 HF is a rare example finished in Giallo over a Black interior, and is a desirable Series II example. Launched in November 1970, the Series II refined the Fulvia’s design, primarily replacing the Series I’s oversized “Fanalone” headlights, and replacing the plastic wheel extensions with flared wheel arches seamlessly blended into the bodywork. It is powered by a 1.6-liter V4, which was updated with Solex carburetors from the factory and produces 115-CV through a five-speed manual transmission. Lacking the emissions control systems present in later Fulvia iterations, this is one of the purest Fulvia variants created. According to its German Zulassungsbescheinigung registration documents, this example was first registered on the 1st of August 1971. It notably received a restoration before entering a respected German collection in February 2020, where it was maintained by Italian car specialists Scuderia Sauer. The Fulvia was last serviced in 2024 and was purchased by the consignor based in Œting, France in September 2025. Offered with 39,053 kilometers at cataloging, it is furnished with German registration documents. Such a wonderful example is eligible for and would make a welcome addition to prestigious historic events including Tour Auto and Rally Monte-Carlo Historique.
