2011 BMW Z4 3.0i Roadster

The second generation BMW Z4, referred to as the E89 chassis, was introduced at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show to huge fanfare due to its retractable folding metal hard top which was a first for BMW. The new Z4 was also produced in Germany as opposed the the USA like the earlier Z4 and Z3 models. The DOHC 24-valve, 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine produces a hefty 255 horsepower and 220 ft lbs of torque which enables a respectable zero-60mph time of just under 6 seconds.

This 2001 BMW Z4 roadster is the "3.0i S-Drive spec" and was built in September of 2010. The car was sold new at BMW Bellevue on January 1, 2011 and has remained in WA State its whole life. This Z4 is finished in beautiful Alpine White over Coral Red interior and factory options include: 8-Speed Sport Automatic transmission, Kansas Leather interior, M-Sport pkg (M-door sills, staggered 18-inch M-sport wheels, M-sport bumpers, M-tunned suspension, sport seats, M-sport steering wheel) Premium pkg, Cold Weather pkg, Navigation, Comfort Access Keyless Entry and Start, Alarm system, Smartphone integration I-pod and USB ports.

The original MSRP was $65,825 and it currently has just under 89,000 miles. Over the years the car has been well maintained and serviced at BMW dealers and specialists. In August of 2025 at 88,252 miles the Z4 had an oil service, brake fluid service, new air filter, new cabin filter, and inspection. In 2023 the folding hard top was serviced and new microswitches were installed both L and R sides, the spark plugs were replaced in 2023 as well, new tires were last installed in 2021 at 54,585 miles and the battery was replaced that year as well. The car included 2-remote keys, owner's manuals, floor mats, partial service records, copy of window sticker, clean CarFax report and clear WA title.

Overall this is a nice driver-level Z4 that still looks nice with a few wear related flaws here and there consistent with its age and mileage. The right rear quarter panel and door have been repainted at some point and there are some scrapes that have been touch up on the front and rear bumpers from parking lots. The driver's seat has some typical minor bolster wear but the interior otherwise in in excellent condition. The windshield has a few small chips and minor pitting due to mileage. Everything is in good working condition and the car drives very well.
