The 1971 Triumph TR6 is a classic British sportscar known for its rugged charm and strong performance. Powered by a 2.5 litre inline-six engine, it delivered smooth torque and an engaging driving experience. Its sharp, Michelotti-styled body lines and distinctive chrome details gave it timeless appeal. With a four-speed manual transmission and optional overdrive, the TR6 offered spirited open-top motoring. Today, it remains a collectible admired for its character and mechanical simplicity.

Originally registered in January 1971, this impressive Triumph TR6 presents in immaculate grey metallic coachwork which is complemented by an interior trimmed in red and sits on a gleaming set of wire wheels. This impressive example has benefitted from a no cost spared, nut and bolt restoration by a leading marque specialist and the quality of the work is easy to see. The panel gaps and shut lines are as good as we have seen and the car runs extremely well. The engine bay is impeccable, and the underneath of this Triumph is as clean as it is above. The file for this delightful car contains a V5C registration document and various bills and receipts. Unfortunately, the restorer of the car recently passed away and any paperwork relating to the process is now missing although, as stated, the quality of the work speaks for itself. This Triumph would grace any serious collection. Consigned by Dominic Lake
