- Launched at the British Motor Show in 1992, the Chimaera was introduced as a more practical, long-distance alternative to the TVR Griffith. Powered by Rover's 4.0L or 5.0L engine, it became TVR's biggest selling model and sold over 5,000 units up until production ceased in 2003
- The 4-litre car, as here, offered 240bhp, 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and 152mph with a 5-speed manual gearbox
- The striking example offered here is finished in Crimson Starmist over a classic TVR interior in cream leather with walnut veneers
- It was initially registered to main dealer Fernhurst Motor Company (who today remain as the largest independent TVR specialist) and our vendor purchased the vehicle in 1996 and has remained the only keeper since
