Vendor states:
The vehicle has sustained a full photographic nut & bolt restoration. Everything is new or has been refurbished. It was refurbished by an experienced engineer & his son who is a mechanic. The cost was in excess of £44,000. The interior was sourced from Germany and is period correct. This alone was in excess of £10,000.
Everything on the car works and is a pleasure to drive. It has had a couple of modern upgrades; it now has 2 speed electric wipers which is an improvement on the vacuum wipers, and also the heating system has been engineered with a 2 speed blower.
It was finished 4 years ago and has only covered 24 miles due to the owner becoming gravely ill & passing away.
The car appears to have been owned by a gentleman stationed at RAF Laarbruch Germany with invoices and paperwork back to 1967 in a fascinating history folder.
