The Harris Magnum 2 is an iconic 1980s British custom frame kit, designed as a performance-oriented upgrade for large-capacity Japanese engines, it featured a distinctive, rigid steel duplex cradle frame, often paired with high-end components like Marzocchi M1R forks, AP Lockheed brakes, and Dymag wheels, offering superior handling over stock bikes.

Let’s start with the heart; the legendary 1127cc oil cooled motor from the GSX-R1100M with a skimmed head and refreshed motor the bike is reportedly a missile!

The engine cases are all nicely refinished and really look the business. Fuelling is taken care of by a brand-new set of Mikuni RS38 flat slides.

The wheels and forks again are from the 1100M, the forks having been rebuilt / tweaked by a local suspension specialist. At the rear is a ‘baby blade’ gull arm swinging arm being sprung by a Maxton rear shock absorber. The bike has been in the same hands for over 30 years and has not been used much recently so we would recommend recommissioning. The bike doesn’t require any keys to start, just some bravery and a lot of high-octane fuel.
