The 1978 Yamaha DT-175MX is a highly regarded two-stroke, single-cylinder air-cooled enduro motorcycle featuring a 171cc engine, 6-speed gearbox, and mono-shock rear suspension. Producing roughly 15-17 HP, it is considered a classic versatile trail bike, capable of 70+ mph. It was popular for its lightweight, punchy engine.

This honest little DT175 comes with a file of old MOTs and the original owner’s manual. The bike appears to be all complete and original with the plastics in generally good condition. The bike has been stored dry of fuel however there is some surface corrosion inside of the fuel cap. The bike will require a number plate and as with any vehicle that’s been on display and stored for a while, we recommend a light recommission.
