  • Great specification
  • Lovely history
  • Just serviced and MOT’d
  • Lots of paperwork

Here’s something you don’t see very often, a Porsche Cayman 3.4 S manual. A great combination and quite rare being a manual gearbox, as most are Tiptronic. Supplied new to its first owner on 2/9/2011, unfortunately it was recorded on HPi as a ‘Category D’ in 2011 which we are led to believe was front end damage and at the time it was on an ‘old for new’ insurance program. We cannot confirm this but it does sound plausible as this was a thing back then. The Porsche has since moved on, changing hands a few times and going through many MOTs and services with no issues.

The specification is lovely with such things as park distance control, vehicle tracking system, silver-coloured instrument dials and cluster, electric and heated mirrors, heat seats, sports seats, CD tray, Porsche stability control, DVD navigation, sports chrono, on-board computer, 19” Carrera sports wheels, red calipers and a flat bottom steering wheel amongst all the other standard goodies.

The history is equally as good with it just being serviced and MOT’d by Jasmine PorschaLink, one of the country’s leading Porsche specialists. There are many invoices and receipts from lots of previous work showing that it has been cherished and cared for. The colour is Royal blue with black leather, which suits it very well, and just by looking at it, you know its special.

In certain circles, it is believed that these are going to become equally as desirable as the legend that is the 911. As a driver’s car, some would say they are better than a 911, so why not take a look at this example and see what you think?

PLEASE NOTE: This Lot is recorded on HPI as ‘Category D Insurance Loss. Vehicle Damaged But Repairable - Insurer Decided Not To Repair 04/12/2011’.
