The Land Rover Series IIA (1961-1971) truck cab is an iconic utility configuration, available on both 88-inch (SWB) and 109-inch (LWB) chassis.

Known for its durable, modular aluminium design, it typically features a hard-top roof, rear sliding window, and side doors, often paired with a rear canvas tilt or pick-up.

This particular Series IIa has been beautifully restored and improved by the fitting of the venerable 200TDi motor with invoices and photographic record of the work done.

The interior is largely original save for the later Series III seats (that are in superb condition) and a modified instrument panel. Leaning into the cab and twisting the key, the engine starts first turn, with no need to pump the throttle, cross your fingers or close your eyes in hope.

The paintwork is gorgeous with a deep lustre and shine. The traditionally galvanised tub cappings have been painted silver, which although not original certainly present very well. The engine bay continues the theme and is extremely clean and presentable.

All 5 wheels (including the bonnet mounted spare) have been repainted in standard Limestone and are wrapped in authentic 190 x 15 tyres with plenty of tread.

The load bed is again clean and in superb condition, and is complemented with a full set of hood sticks and a brand new canvas.

Overall, this is an obviously cherished Land Rover that benefits from a 200TDi engine and with all the bodywork done and ready to serve its new owner for years to come.
