We are very pleased to bring to market this Rolls-Royce Shadow that was in the acclaimed TV drama 'Nolly', about the life story of Noele Gordon and starring Helena Bonham Carter. This example is finished in a light gold with what looks like a vinyl roof but is in fact painted and contrasted with beige leather. The Rolls looks to be all there, arguably it could do with a refresh, but that is to be expected since it is 53 years old. It does have some new parts on it and was driven to our premises by the vendor with no reported issues.

The Rolls comes with a great history file including not one but two service books. The first tells us that its first owner was a Mr Mitchell from the Isle of Man who took delivery on 1/8/1973 and contains 9 stamps, with the second containing 7 stamps. There is an invoice showing that £8,000 was paid for it in 2022, a large collection of MOTs going back many years, and a large collection of invoices and receipts, again going back many years. All-in-all, a great history to have with your classic Rolls-Royce.

The Shadow sits very well and looks quite nice. It is fitted with a battery isolator in the boot and comes with an interesting registration number ‘NMS100M’ - sadly not ‘NG10’ as it wore in the TV show. The Shadow market has suddenly started to wake up, and prices are on the up, and as this particular example is being offered at no reserve, it represents a shrewd buy, especially for a TV star.
