The MGA 1600, introduced in 1959, was a further development of the MGA 1500. With its timeless, low-slung body line and flowing curves, the MGA is often regarded as one of the most beautiful MGs ever built. The model combines classic British sports car charm with practical driving characteristics and a robust technical foundation. The MGA 1600 is distinguished by its low, aerodynamic profile, elegant mudguards and classic chrome grille. A distinctive feature of this model is the larger rear lights compared to the 1500. The interior is simple and functional, with leather seats, a metal dashboard featuring round Smiths instruments and a sporty, thin-spoke steering wheel. The car is fitted with spoke wheels and whitewall tyres. The exhaust is made of stainless steel and is maintenance-free.
