A true icon of American motoring, this 1967 Ford Mustang represents the evolution of one of the most celebrated 'pony cars' ever produced. Marking the first significant redesign of the Mustang since its debut, the 1967 model features a more muscular and assertive presence, with a wider stance, revised grille, and pronounced body lines that perfectly capture the spirit of late-1960s performance
This example showcases the unmistakable long-hood, short-deck proportions that defined the Mustang's identity, complemented by period-correct detailing and chrome accents. The interior reflects classic American craftsmanship, with a driver-focused cockpit, clear instrumentation, and timeless styling that blends simplicity with sporty character. Under the bonnet, the 1967 Mustang was offered with a range of engines to suit both cruising and performance enthusiasts, from smooth inline-sixes to potent V8 powerplants, making it one of the most versatile cars of its era. Its robust engineering and engaging driving dynamics continue to make it a favourite among collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This lovely original example was imported by the present owner in 2012 from the United States. It is presented in light metallic blue with contrasting blue interior and its six-cylinder three litre engine is mated to an automatic gearbox. The rear leaf springs and rear shock absorbers have been replaced by the present owner and all the brakes have been renewed including a rear oil seal. It comes with a nice history file with various invoices, old MoT test certificates, a copy of its US Title, spare key and a current V5. Today, the 1967 Mustang stands as a symbol of freedom, performance, and design innovation—an enduring classic that remains as desirable now as it was upon its release. A superb addition to any serious collection, it offers both historical significance and unmistakable road presence. At no reserve this presents itself as a great opportunity. Consigned by James Good.
