- The V7 line began in the late 1960s as Moto Guzzi moved into larger-capacity touring bikes, characterised by its 90° transverse engine layout, shaft drive and loop frame
- The V7 Special was introduced in 1969 as an upgraded version of the earlier V7 700, with a bigger engine and improved styling and was aimed particularly at export markets like the United States, where demand for more power and highway capability was growing
- The air-cooled, longitudinally mounted 90° V-twin was enlarged to 757cc for the 1969/1970 models
- This smart example has been enthusiast owned, imported by our vendor from Italy and subject to many improvements
- Work includes recent NOS Nikasil barrels and a full service by well known Guzzi engineers, NBS of Stafford.
