Towards the end of the 1960s, European motorcycle industries, in an attempt to consolidate their market position without receding, sought solutions to update their model ranges. The British, famously conservative, for their high-displacement motorcycles thought of further developing the engines, which were twin-cylinders. At Triumph, Technical Director Bert Hopwood, assisted by Doug Hele, thought of starting from the T100 series twin-cylinder, adding a cylinder and taking as reference the thermal units of the 250cc single-cylinder model to obtain an overall displacement of 750cc; the chassis was similar to the Bonneville model with several improvements to the suspension.

The new model was named the T150, and the offered one belongs to the second series, with a 250mm single-disc Lockheed front brake. Complete, preserved, in excellent condition. ASI and FMI registered. A general check is recommended before use.
