The Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500 marks the final, most exclusive chapter of the classic Mini—an icon that captivated enthusiasts since 1959. Built to celebrate the end of its production, just 500 were made, making it one of the rarest and most collectible versions.Available in four colours—British Racing Green, Tahiti Blue, Solar Red, and Anthracite—each featured a Platinum Silver roof, bonnet stripes, and unique Cooper Sport trim. These cars represent the ultimate evolution of the multi-point injection Mini, powered by the most refined version of the legendary A-series engine. Paired with a four-speed manual, it delivers lively performance that suits both city driving and winding roads. Visually, it retains the Mini's charm—compact, distinctive, and enhanced with wider arches and 13-inch Sportspack wheels.Inside, it blends classic character with subtle modern upgrades, offering improved insulation and updated instruments while preserving the Mini's cosy feel.

Supplied new by Eastern Rover, Chelmsford on 30th June 2001, this splendid Mini Cooper Sport 500 is finished in striking Solar Red with a Platinum Silver roof and bonnet stripes. Inside, it features the desirable black and Nickel Silver leather-trimmed interior, complemented by an engine-turned finish dashboard with chrome bezel gauges and a glovebox housing the 'Last 500' plaque. Currently displaying 48,693 miles, this Mini has remained within the same family for the past 20 years and, for the last 12 years, has been carefully stored in a dry barn. The bodywork appears straight and well-aligned, with correct panel gaps between the scuttle and tops of the wings, while the brightwork and trim remain in excellent condition. The chassis number is correctly stamped into the scuttle panel and etched into both the front and rear screens. The car sits on a recent set of Yokohama A539 tyres, and the undercarriage is notably well preserved, with no corrosion concerns recorded throughout its MoT history. In preparation for sale, approximately £4,000 has been invested in mechanical recommissioning over the past month. The Mini is now sold freshly serviced and with an MoT valid until 12th April 2027. Accompanying the car are two sets of keys, the original service portfolio booklet and a history file supporting its low mileage, including a complete MoT history record. Consigned by Stewart Banks
