Chassis No. BNR34-402612
The Nissan Skyline GT-R is one of those rare machines where legend and engineering converge. The GT-R nameplate first appeared in 1969, but it was the 1989 R32 that rewrote the rulebook, earning the nickname ''Godzilla'' from the Australian automotive press after it systematically dismantled the competition on track.
At the heart of every R34 GT-R beats the iconic RB26DETT, a 2.6-liter inline-six dressed with twin turbos, dual overhead cams, and electronic fuel injection; each letter in that name telling its own story. Officially rated at 280 PS in keeping with a Japanese industry gentleman's agreement, the engine's true output consistently exceeded that figure.
Keeping all that power planted to the ground is Nissan's ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, which continuously and intelligently manages torque distribution between axles. Complementing this is Super HICAS four-wheel steering, giving the GT-R a level of dynamic precision that felt ahead of its time.
The M-Spec-where ''M'' stands for Mature-arrived late in the R34's production run as Nissan's answer to drivers who wanted Godzilla's performance with a grand tourer's refinement. Heated leather seats, softer dampers, and a more composed ride quality distinguished it from its track-focused siblings, without surrendering the GT-R's legendary capability.
Acquired in October 2002 by a Mr. Kosaka, who would keep it in his care until 2025, this Skyline GT-R M-Spec is finished in the striking and highly rare Silica Brass-available exclusively on M-Spec and M-Spec Nür models-over a black leather interior with gold stitching, a hallmark of factory M-Spec variants. It comes thoroughly documented, with a file that includes factory literature, a clean CarVX report showing no history of damage, and a consistent record of inspections carried out primarily at Nissan Prince Tokyo, all available for review.
At the time of purchase in 2002, the car was fitted with the highly desirable NISMO speedometer. The replacement was documented at just 3,634 kilometers, with the history file allowing its original, exceptionally low mileage of 22,710 kilometers to be clearly verified.
After long-term Japanese ownership, the car left its homeland for Europe, was registered in the United Kingdom in September 2025, and passed its British MOT valid through July 2026. It has covered very little distance since.
For the discerning collector, this M-Spec represents a rare convergence of everything that matters: a single long-term owner, documented low mileage, and the refined grand touring comfort that barely conceals its Godzilla character.
