• Low mileage example
Manufactured from 2003 to 2013 the Lamborghini Gallardo is important in the history of the Sant Agata firm as it represents the most successful model in their history. Both eminently usable and importantly, reliable, the V10 sportscar had total Audi backup which made it hugely desirable and subsequently, the most successful sportscar built from this particular Carrozzeria. Its secret lies in its light, but stiff space frame chassis mounted to a five litre, V10 engine powering all four wheels on demand. Offered with two choices of transmission; a conventional six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed electro-hydraulically controlled, semi-automatic which Lamborghini abbreviates to 'E-gear'.
A vivid expression of early 21st-century supercar design, this 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder is presented in the marque's iconic Giallo Midas over a black leather interior. The combination perfectly complements the model's sharp, angular lines and open-top configuration, offering an engaging and dramatic driving experience. Equipped with the E-gear transmission, the car delivers rapid, characterful shifts in keeping with its high-revving V10 engine. Having covered just 27,500 miles from new, this example has clearly benefited from attentive ownership. It is accompanied by a valid MoT certificate through to December 2026 and, most notably, an extensive and well-documented service history file. Initial works in 2007 included replacement of key components such as the steering rack mounts, auxiliary belt, misfire sensor, rear discs and pads, and clutch. Thereafter, the car was maintained at Lamborghini main dealers including Lamborghini London, Lamborghini Manchester and Lancaster Sevenoaks, before continuing its care with reputable specialists. Regular servicing has been carried out at appropriate intervals, alongside additional works including clutch replacement, sensor attention, and diagnostic checks. In 2020, the alloy wheels were refinished in gloss black, with brake calipers painted yellow to match the exterior. More recent maintenance includes a service and new battery in November 2024, followed by a further service and MoT in December 2025.
Well-presented, attractively specified, and supported by comprehensive records, this Gallardo Spyder represents a highly usable and increasingly collectible modern Lamborghini. Consigned by Will Penrose
