- Last of the Stevenage-built machines, the Vincent series D model featured enveloping fibreglass 'all weather' protection bodywork and was fitted with improved suspension and a user-friendly centre stand
- Series D model sales figures were not as projected, customers still preferred an un-faired bike and only circa 200 enclosed models were produced
- Regarded by some as the best riding Vincent produced, unfortunately these bikes became the downfall of the company with Vincent losing money on each Model D sold
- This,mostly original and unrestored example, is presented in good overall condition
- Missing its side panels and points cover, these may be found and if so will be included in the sale
- UK registered from new and same owner since 2001
- Complete with history file containing old V5s, old RF60 green log book dated 1967 and some Black Knight decals
