2022 Morgan Plus Six

In 2019, Morgan launched the Plus Six. As always, this Morgan features a delightful combination of a model with a classic appearance but modern technology under the hood. This time, however, a great deal has been modified, and this certainly does not go unnoticed when taking the car out for a spin. Morgan uses a lightweight aluminium chassis for the Plus Six and claims that it is at least twice as stiff as previous models. As a result, the curb weight of the car does not exceed 1,100 kilograms. For the engine, Morgan once again turned to BMW, with whom they had previously collaborated on the Plus Eight, which utilized the aluminium eight-cylinder.

For the Plus Six, the inline six-cylinder engine from the Z4 M40i is used, marking Morgan's first use of a turbo engine. 340 hp, 500 Nm of torque, a top speed of 267 km/h, and an acceleration time of 4.2 seconds from 0-100 km/h are figures that make any car enthusiast's heart beat faster. Good heavens, what a delightful car this is for the true driver! The sound the engine transmits through the exhaust system is addictive, and the car steers with great precision. Cornering is a joy and provides a thrill when accelerating out of it. Do be careful, though, as this Englishman does not have traction control on board.

The car we are offering you originates from France, where it was delivered new in 2022. A beautiful, modern color scheme of white with a dark beige interior, where the white is also continued into the interior, gives it a sporty look. The black wheels and other accents complete the picture. As befits a true Morgan, the interior is minimalist, yet all useful features are present. The rest is just superfluous ballast that distracts from the driving experience. Air conditioning, a heated windscreen, an automatic gearbox which can also be operated with the paddles on the steering wheel, and the magical Sport+ button are certainly worth mentioning.

Nowadays, the manually operated soft top is also of top quality and is easy to raise and open. Although we prefer to drive without the pop-up doors whenever possible, they are of course present.
