This is a very rare limited edition being 1 of only 40 made in British Racing Green and fitted with gold decals and coach lines, from factory.
It was built in December 1993, the last month of the “hard dash” Range Rover production and as such, is one of the last of the hard dash models recognisable from the KA chassis suffix, indicating the 1994 model year. Later Range Rover Classics launched in March 1994 (the 1995 model year) would feature the so called “soft dash” from the Land Rover Discovery, which to many enthusiasts is less desirable, as it lost connection to the original Range Rover’s dashboard layout.
This is just one of just 40 limited edition examples in Metallic British Racing Green with gold script lettering. It was effectively a “run out” model, before the introduction of the new “soft dash” model and featured many options only available on the newer model. This included air suspension, TWR 5 spoke alloy wheels and a “Lightstone” leather interior. As a highly specified car, it also has been fitted with, ABS, air conditioning, heated, electric and memory front seats, electric door mirrors, electric windows, electric sunroof, cruise control and an upgraded OEM In Car Entertainment system, 6 CD changer and sub-woofer.
Fully restored by Kingsley Cars in 2013, its engine (then at approximately 109K miles) was also replaced with one of their brand new “Top-Hat-Liner” 3. 9 litre fully balanced and blue printed engines, built by a recognised Rover V8 engine specialist.
The first owner purchased the car new, as a company car, from the supplying dealer in 1995, who had registered the car but not sold it. He kept it when the company was sold and re-registered it in his name. The car has since had 2 further owners, so effectively a 3 "owner" car.
With little history up until 2013, the previous owner kept meticulous records for the car which comes with a very detailed history, showcasing annual services up to the most recent one in March 2025, along with thorough records and invoices for all work completed from 2014 to date, which are extensive.
The vehicle has been meticulously maintained without regard to expense and is in excellent condition both internally and externally, as well as underneath, having recently undergone our thorough underbody preservation treatment. The car comes with a MoT certificate valid until April 2027.
With Range Rover Classics now becoming very much sought after, this stunning and rare example, represents a great opportunity for both enthusiast or collector alike.
