In 1963, the first major restyling took place and the Sting Ray was born. The car featured the typical visual 'break line' running along the entire flank and was equipped with the characteristic tapered roof reminiscent of a shark. Furthermore, the C2 had pop-up headlights and exhausts that protruded from the rear bumper. The C2 was extra special because it was equipped with fuel injection, which was extremely rare in the United States at the time. This concerns a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Convertible with matching numbers! The second generation of Corvettes was at least as successful as the first. With very sporty lines and a look that inspired many designs for years to come, Chevrolet set a standard with the Corvette C2 Sting Ray. Powered by a 327 CID matching number 5.4-liter engine, this Corvette produced 300 hp. And coupled with a perfectly shifting 4-speed manual transmission, it makes the Corvette very sporty to drive. The red "Riverside Red" paint is in very beautiful condition and has a beautiful shine.
