1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Two-Door Hardtop – Corvette 327 V8, TH400, Disc Brakes, 12-Bolt Posi

Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is proud to offer this beautifully presented 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop. Finished in a stunning turquoise and white two-tone exterior over a matching custom turquoise, white, and black interior, this Bel Air delivers the unmistakable look that made the 1957 Chevrolet one of the most iconic American classics ever built.

The exterior has the proper presence from every angle, with bright chrome, polished stainless trim, classic Bel Air side spears, hood ornaments, color-matched steel wheels, polished hubcaps, and BFGoodrich radial tires. The brightwork and stainless were hand polished in preparation for sale, giving the car a clean, detailed, and well-cared-for appearance. The color combination gives this Bel Air a nostalgic look while still standing out with the kind of curb appeal people expect from a true Tri-Five Chevrolet.

Inside, the cabin carries the same attention to detail with a beautifully coordinated bench seat interior, painted turquoise dash, polished trim, classic gauge cluster, Bel Air badging, and a floor-mounted automatic shifter. The interior keeps the vintage feel intact while giving the car a clean and comfortable presentation. The trunk is also nicely finished with black carpeting, spare tire, and jack storage.

Under the hood, this Bel Air is powered by a 327 V8 engine. The engine block part number decodes as a 1964–1968 Corvette 327 block, and it is equipped with desirable double-hump high-performance cylinder heads along with factory-style performance exhaust manifolds. The engine bay presents well with body-color inner fenders and firewall, chrome valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and a clean overall layout.

Power is sent through a TH400 automatic transmission. The engine and transmission conversion was done properly using an approved transmission crossmember, giving the car a clean and well-executed drivetrain setup. The rear axle is a 12-bolt positraction unit, adding another desirable performance component to this already attractive Bel Air.

This car also benefits from upgraded front disc brakes with rear drums. Recent preparation for sale included a new battery from Costco, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, new air filter, oil and filter change, drained and flushed fuel tank with fresh non-ethanol gas, carburetor cleaning to remove old sludge, radiator drain and flush with fresh green antifreeze, brake line flush, new wheel cylinders, and a new master cylinder. These recent service items help make the car more sorted and ready for its next owner.

Additional inspection notes include paint meter readings taken on 5/15/26 showing very little body filler in the car. The undercarriage shows no evidence of prior accident damage, and the floor pans are solid. The tires present well visually, but they are over 10 years old, so the next buyer should consider replacing them due to age. The only issue noted is that the passenger door window needs replacing.

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop checks all the right boxes: legendary Tri-Five styling, desirable two-tone colors, Corvette-sourced 327 V8 power, TH400 automatic transmission, 12-bolt positraction rear end, upgraded front disc brakes, solid floors, recent mechanical service, and excellent curb appeal. Whether you are looking for a weekend cruiser, local show car, or centerpiece for a classic Chevrolet collection, this Bel Air is a standout example ready to be enjoyed.
