As the headline suggests, recent developments surrounding the famous brand from Coventry are stirring up quite a bit of dust. Which direction is it heading? We don't know either, presumably just like you... Due to our great love for the brand and the upcoming summer, we have just had the pleasure of adding a beautiful XK convertible to our collection, about which we would like to tell you more here.

The XK convertible shown here is finished in “Polaris White,” a color that is not only rare but also particularly attractive, perfectly showcasing the design by the renowned Ian Callum. Combined with a very chic dark brown interior and complemented by 19-inch Caravela alloy wheels and a black convertible top, the entire specification is undeniably timeless. As a post-first facelift model, this XK features the wonderful-sounding 5.0-liter V8 engine, which delivers very appealing performance with 385 hp and 515 Nm of torque. The engine and, especially, the exhaust sound even hint at Nascar, making it a joy to press the accelerator pedal deep into the dark brown carpet. The beautiful interior, upholstered in soft leather, remains entirely like new after having covered just over 40,000 kilometers, and the aluminum trim makes the whole ensemble modern as well as luxurious. In addition to heated seats, the front seats with perforated centers are also equipped with ventilation. An equally pleasant and rare option.

We already mentioned that the mileage is exceptionally low, and in addition to the condition of the car, the maintenance history from new is entirely complete and available, with invoices for all services and stamps in the book. The initial delivery took place in Germany, where the car has had only one owner since new, before being registered in the Netherlands last summer.

In summary, this very beautifully executed Jaguar 5.0 L V8 convertible is a car for the true enthusiast who still wants to enjoy one of the last truly classic Jaguar models.
