1983 Lancia Beta HPE Volumex
£17,123.63 | €19,800.00 | $22,981.84

The Lancia Beta HPE was introduced at the 1975 Geneva Motor Show. The HPE initials were initially interpreted as High Performance Estate, later as High Performance Executive, so take your pick. The Beta HPE shared the same long wheelbase as the Beta sedan, but its overall length was increased by the long, sloping rear end. The "ventilation openings" in the C-pillar flow beautifully into the shape of the Venetian blinds behind the rear window. The HPE is characterized by a very attractive body design, but truly special is the beautifully sculpted rear seat with rounded corners found in Series 1 and 2 cars. The Lancia Beta HPE was built in three series. Changes between series included minor exterior design details and the introduction of the 2000 cc engine for Series 2. With the introduction of Series 3, the HPE received a completely redesigned interior, modified coil springs, and an automatic transmission became available. The Lancia HPE is a luxury Coupe / Estate with room for four people, a spacious trunk and sporty driving characteristics.
