Rare, unrestored 1961 Plymouth Fury Convertible, originally delivered in the Netherlands, from the second owner, complete with Square Wheel, Philips record player, and full documentation. The car has driven only 95.000 kilometers, is in fantastic condition, and is being offered for sale for the first time in forty years. In 1961, this Plymouth Fury Convertible was delivered new by the Hague-based firm Zoet to the director of the addressing machine company HaPee from Zeist (later Soesterberg). In the 1980s, the car came into the hands of the second owner, who has cherished the Plymouth ever since. It is one of the few Furies imported at the time and, as far as is known, is currently the only one of this type in the Netherlands. Just under 7.000 examples were made, and this model is extremely rare, especially as a convertible. The design is by the legendary Virgil Exner (1909-1973). The Plymouth has a 5,2-liter 318 'Fury V-800' V8 producing 290 hp, mated to a button-operated Torque-Flite automatic transmission.
