Volvo Amazon GT, also known as the 122S GT or 133GT, type 133941P. These models were built in Ghent, Belgium, from 1968 onwards. The type plate states ‘133’, just as on the Amazon 123GT. The windscreen bore the designation ‘122S’, whilst the boot lid simply read ‘GT’. It is fitted with a rev counter on the dashboard, a GT steering wheel, reclining seat fittings, overdrive and twin SU carburettors. Important for enthusiasts: the car still bears its original old Dutch number plate, dating from the year of manufacture. This Volvo Amazon has undergone maintenance and restoration work costing many thousands of euros in recent years. In addition, a great deal of attention has been paid not only to the mechanical aspects but also to the exterior and interior. For example, the seats have been reupholstered, the overdrive has been overhauled and the car has been fitted with attractive new alloy wheels. Furthermore, new tyres were fitted in 2025. The engine has also always received the necessary maintenance, ensuring the car is in good technical condition. Invoices for all the work carried out and investments made are available for inspection. This means the maintenance history is fully transparent, and a future owner will know exactly what work has been done on the car.
