Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is proud to present this beautifully executed 1951 Chevrolet 3100 Custom Restomod, a carefully coordinated build that combines the unmistakable shape of Chevrolet's Advance-Design pickup with modern suspension, upgraded braking, small-block V8 performance, air conditioning, and a fully customized interior.

The exterior is finished in a deep House of Kolor Brandywine that displays impressive depth across the truck's rounded cab, sculpted front fenders, running boards, rear fenders, and pickup bed. The rich burgundy finish is complemented by bright chrome bumpers, a polished horizontal-bar grille, chrome headlight bezels, classic Chevrolet badging, and a split windshield that preserves the truck's unmistakable early-1950s character.

A dramatically lowered stance gives the truck a modern show-truck presence. Gold-finished staggered wheels with polished outer lips measure 20 inches in front and 22 inches at the rear. They are wrapped in 245/45R20 front and 285/35ZR22 rear tires, filling the fenders while maintaining a clean and proportionate appearance.

The pickup bed is finished to the same standard as the exterior. Gloss-finished wood boards are separated by polished stainless strips, creating a warm contrast against the Brandywine-painted bed sides and embossed Chevrolet tailgate. The relocated fuel tank is positioned beneath the bed, removing it from the original behind-the-seat location and contributing to the cleaner cabin layout.

Under the hood is a Chevrolet 327 cubic-inch V8 producing approximately 300 horsepower. The engine is equipped with a polished aluminum intake manifold, Holley 600 CFM carburetor, electronic ignition, billet aluminum valve covers, a matching finned air cleaner, chrome pulleys, and neatly routed ignition wiring. Ram-horn exhaust manifolds feed a dual-exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, giving the truck an appropriate small-block exhaust note.

Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, while an engine-driven air-conditioning compressor supports the truck's upgraded climate-control system. The engine compartment is finished in matching Brandywine and presents as a coordinated part of the overall build rather than an unfinished mechanical space.

Power is delivered through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission to a GM 10-bolt rear axle. The chassis has been substantially modernized with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension, tubular control arms, and rack-and-pinion steering. Power steering makes the truck considerably easier to maneuver than a stock 1951 pickup.

Four-corner air ride provides adjustable ride height and allows the truck to achieve its extremely low parked stance. Inside the cab, dual air-pressure gauges and four individual control switches give the driver direct control over the suspension. The rear chassis uses a four-link arrangement, and the underside photographs show the relocated fuel tank, air-suspension components, upgraded front crossmember, and neatly routed dual exhaust.

Braking has been upgraded to power-assisted four-wheel discs. Wilwood six-piston front calipers and two-piston rear calipers provide modern stopping performance that properly complements the truck's larger wheels, upgraded suspension, and V8 drivetrain.

The interior is one of the strongest parts of the build. The cabin is finished in a coordinated Honey-Glaze and tan color combination with bolstered bucket seating, perforated center inserts, stitched upholstery, matching door panels, and tan carpeting. A custom center armrest incorporates a stainless cup holder without overwhelming the compact cab.

The original-style dashboard has been refinished in Brandywine and updated with large Dolphin gauges monitoring speed, fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and electrical output. The odometer currently displays 2,279 miles, believed to represent mileage accumulated since the build. Additional gauges beneath the dash monitor air-suspension pressure.

A custom color-matched steering wheel maintains the vintage Chevrolet appearance, while modern air-conditioning vents are mounted cleanly beneath the dashboard. The Centech wiring harness provides a modern electrical foundation for the upgraded instrumentation, air ride, cooling fan, climate system, and other accessories.

This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 is more than a classic pickup with custom paint and wheels. Its 327 V8, automatic transmission, Mustang II front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, four-link rear suspension, adjustable air ride, Wilwood brakes, modern cooling, upgraded wiring, custom upholstery, finished wood bed, and relocated fuel tank make it a complete and thoughtfully assembled restomod.
