1957 Austin Healey 100/6 (BN4) Restored 2017

TYJ 268 is a fantastic example of the very early six-cylinder Austin Healey – the 100/6. This particular car a 2+2 (BN4) model has been fully restored in 2017 by Merlin Classics from the ground up and finished in Healey Blue metallic with Ivory duotone, Chrome wire wheels, Navy interior and Navy wet weather gear. The car has covered just 1,500 indicated miles since restoration and remains in excellent condition inside and out.

Restoration was comprehensive on the body and included stripping back of the body and chassis to bare metal, rotisserie metalwork carried out to the chassis, zinc priming of the chassis and bulkheads, painted stone chip protection to the chassis, full repaint of the body from bare metal, all new wiring, fuel lines and brake lines, repainted and fully serviced engine and gearbox, fully rebuilt SU carburettors, non overdrive gearbox with original rear axle including new differential seals, new fuel tank, new mild steel exhaust, all new blue leather interior and carpet set, new vinyl hood and much more.
