This MG TB spent some of its life in Australia and appears to have been repatriated to the UK in 2016. It presents well, the 1250cc XPAG engine started immediately and we are advised by the vendor that this MG drives with no known faults. Only around 379 examples of the MG TB were built, making surviving cars especially valuable to collectors. Many have been carefully restored and are displayed at classic-car events, where their elegant styling and historical significance attract considerable attention. The MG TB is more than just an old sports car. It captures the spirit of British motoring immediately before the Second World War and demonstrates MG's ability to combine attractive design, simple engineering and enjoyable performance. Today, it remains a highly regarded example of Britain's early sports-car tradition and an important part of MG's heritage. Consigned by Stewart Banks
