Built in 1955, this 86-inch Land Rover Series I has lived a remarkably honest and carefully preserved life. Purchased by its current owner in the late 1980s, it has spent decades being enjoyed exactly as its makers intended, covering only a few hundred miles each year on gentle green lanes, country roads and visits to classic vehicle shows.

Unlike many early Land Rovers, this example has never undergone a full restoration. Instead, it has benefited from thoughtful maintenance whenever required, allowing it to retain the originality and character that make these early Series I models so special.

Over the years, the wiring loom has been replaced, the radiator professionally re-cored and, more recently, the braking system completely overhauled.
