Firmly rooted in its heritage, with lines recalling the 507, the brand's most coveted collectible, the BMW Z8 (Z” stands for Zukunft, German for “future) was unmistakably a statement of intent for the road ahead. First unveiled at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show as the Z07 concept car, it returned two years later at the 1999 Frankfurt Motor Show in a form remarkably close to the production car.

Its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, documenting its life in the United States, records regular emissions inspections, as well as a major service performed by BMW and Lamborghini of Houston, before the car was exported to France.

Its French chapter began with none other than the king of Parisian nightlife, creator of the Queen Club on the Champs-Élysées and owner of Castel, among other establishments, as well as a passionate polo player in Chantilly.
