The BMW was registered to a gentleman in Deerfield Beach, Florida, although it spent its life locally in Connecticut.

After three years, the same Purchasing Broker was notified that the BMW M3 may become available, and the Broker quickly moved on the opportunity to purchase the M3, as this model had become increasingly desirable to own. The Broker purchased the M3 and transferred it to the elated second owner, located in the same nearby Town of East Haven, CT in June of 2001, with the odometer reading a mere 23,000 miles.

For over 25 years, the elated woman enjoyed the exhilarating performance of driving with the open top, retractable convertible top and the matching hardtop during the cooler seasons. Now here's where the story gets interesting...in August of 2025, nearly 25 years after the sale, the same Broker spotted the woman enjoying a drive and reached for his cell phone. To his delight, he was able to negotiate a deal with her and purchased this amazing BMW once again. With an ultra-low 54,000 miles, and in nearly original condition, this M3 was back, this time as a very collectable and sought after classic.
