• Originally announced to the press as the Mark Ten, the early Factory Brochures called it the Mark Ten, later the MK 10 and later still the Mk X, however, the name badges fixed onto the rear boot lid of the actual production cars read MK 10 - so MK 10 it is
• Finished in British Racing Green over a Beige Hide interior with rear picnic tables
• Powered by Jaguar’s 3.8-litre XK straight-six with triple SU carburettors, coupled to an automatic transmission and equipped with power steering
• First registered in November 1963 to a Mr Tregenza and spent much of its early life in Cornwall
• Later part of the James Hull Collection and subsequently The Warwickshire Collection in 2007 (a yellow label affixed to the driver’s door reads ‘Property of JLR’ and carries ‘Fixed Asset Number 314000000058’)
• Acquired by its current keeper in 2023 and since then almost £10,000 has been invested in a substantial mechanical recommissioning by a respected independent Jaguar specialist, including attention to the engine, carburettors, steering and braking systems
• Accompanied by its original buff logbook recording ownership from 1963 to 1978, subsequent V5 documentation extending the known ownership trail through to 2007, a selection of earlier MOT Certificates, invoices and photographs documenting the recent recommissioning work, along with a Jaguar workshop manual and sales brochure
