Chassis No. WP0ZZZ96ZPS402666

This Carrera 2 Coupe was completed on 28 May 1993 and collected from the factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen on June 2. Built to Rest-of-World specification, it was finished in the seldom-seen Amethyst Metallic over Black leather and ordered with a well-judged combination of options. Among them were M030 sports suspension, a 40-percent limited-slip differential, 17-inch Cup wheels, air conditioning, an electric sunroof, heated leather seats, an on-board computer, and a Blaupunkt 'Symphony RDS' radio with an additional amplifier.

The original stamped service booklet records that CUP-Autohandels of Hamburg carried out its early services, and in April 1995 Porsche Zentrum Willich-Münchheide sold the car to a company in Moers under a Porsche used-car warranty. A Porsche Nürburgring Pass issued to the car during this period, entitling its holder to unlimited laps of the Nordschleife during public sessions, remains with it today.

The 911 was registered in Italy in April 1997, and from 1998 through 2014 its service book was stamped by Marrocco, a Porsche service partner in Fondi. Marrocco replaced the speedometer at 113,200 km in February 2007. In November 2010 it completed a comprehensive engine rebuild with new main and connecting-rod bearings, piston rings, camshafts, and timing chains, as well as overhauled cylinder heads fitted with new valve guides. The same work order, totaling €15.563, also covered a new clutch with an RS flywheel, rebuilt dampers, and new brake hoses and front discs.

The car later spent time with owners in Rome and the Marche region, where new dampers were fitted in 2020, before a caretaker in Bergamo acquired it in 2022. A recommissioning followed, involving 97 hours of labor. It included a new clutch disc and pressure plate, engine mounts, brake discs and pads, an overhauled air-conditioning compressor, powder-coated engine tinware, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. In 2024, Car Terzi of Grassobio stripped the body to bare metal and refinished it in its original color of Amethyst Metallic, documented in images on file. That finish is now safeguarded by front paint protection film, also spanning part of the roof.

The odometer on the replacement speedometer currently reads 59,681 km, some 34,000 of which have been covered since the engine rebuild. This comprehensively documented Carrera 2 is accompanied by its original Porsche warranty and maintenance booklet, owner's literature in a Porsche leather wallet, two keys, a 2013 ASI Certificate of Historic and Collectible Interest, Italian registration documents, and an extensive file of invoices.
