- In really fabulous condition, this superb Guzzi special is based upon a 1000SP Spada and benefits from the tried and tested big-block engine platform that performs very well
- Our vendor spotted this bike for sale in Italy in 2020, complete with its '58' on the side panels as a nod to Marco Simoncelli's riding number, and knew he had to own it. After some brief correspondence with the seller he hired a van and drove all the way to Italy to collect it, and he wasn't disappointed as the bike had been superbly built to a high-specification and rode wonderfully
- The bike starts easily and quickly settles down to an even idle, emitting a gentle growl and sounds fabulous when in use. During his ownership, our vendor has gone through the electrics and upgraded them, including the fitment of a new regulator/ rectifier and battery, along with regular servicing
- The bike has had limited use, though our vendor did undertake the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride in London where it attracted a lot of interest
