- From a previous 46-year ownership
- In traditional Almond Green
- Exceptionally limited use in recent decades
This late 1000 (Series V) “Moggy” is a remarkably low owner example, with just 2 former keepers recorded prior to its current ownership, with the previous keeper having owned the vehicle for an astonishing 46 years, from 1980 until recently.
First registered in the UK on 1st May 1970, this example is finished in traditional Almond Green with the complementing Sage Green interior. A charming British classic with just as much a following today as ever, this is a lovely little example that would make a good edition to any collection or as a first-time classic car.
The vendor describes the overall condition of this example as ‘good to average’ and considers the vehicle to be ‘solid’ and in mostly original condition. The car shows some cosmetic imperfections consistent with its age; such as a scratch along the passenger side and areas where paint is missing, as illustrated in the photographs. The interior, however, has been very well preserved, with the seats, headlining, carpets and door cards all remaining in ‘good’ condition.
The vendor advises that the vehicle is a running and driving example, although it will require a new battery. Unfortunately, the vehicle's original paperwork has been lost over the years. It is supplied with its current V5C registration document.
Included in the history folder is a gov.uk history printout covering the period from 2006 to 2016, during which time the car recorded just 336 miles. Since 2016, it has covered a further 86 miles, indicating exceptionally limited use in recent decades. The vendor tells us that the mileage of 49,733 is believed to be genuine, due to its limited use and careful ownership, however this can not be verified.
